Human Rights Policy
Open Feed Network, Inc. | Candor: The Open Feed Network
Effective: June 10, 2026 | EIN: 42-2688100 | Wyoming C-Corp
Open Feed Network, Inc. is committed to respecting human rights in all aspects of our platform operations, in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). We recognize that counterterrorism and human rights are complementary and mutually reinforcing goals.
1. Our Commitment to the UNGPs
Open Feed Network, Inc. explicitly adopts the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) as the framework for our human rights commitments. We recognize the state duty to protect human rights and our corporate responsibility to respect human rights in all platform operations.
2. How Human Rights Apply to Our Content Moderation
Freedom of Expression
We default to free expression. The burden of proof is on suppression, not on speech. Content is never hidden without a logged, auditable reason stored immutably on IPFS. Every moderation action is reviewable and appealable.
- Opinion and editorial content is always protected — never actioned
- Satire and parody is always protected — labeled for clarity, never removed
- Journalism, academic research, and survivor testimony are explicitly protected in our TVEC detection system
- Non-English content is treated identically to English — never flagged for language alone
Right to Privacy
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the platform. IP addresses are retained for a maximum of 24 hours. We require valid legal process before disclosing any user data to government entities.
Right to Remedy
Any user whose content is actioned has the right to appeal within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by a human moderator within 72 hours. We never use fully automated removals — every action requires human review. Contact: [email protected]
3. Human Rights Due Diligence
In accordance with Principle 17 of the UNGPs, we conduct ongoing human rights due diligence:
- Assess: Continuously assess potential impacts through our IPFS audit trail and transparency reporting system
- Integrate: Human rights considerations are embedded in the design of every safety product
- Track: Track outcomes through our automated transparency reporting system logging every safety event
- Communicate: Publish annual transparency reports and maintain this public human rights policy
4. Counterterrorism and Human Rights
Our ThreatShield TVEC detection system is specifically designed to protect human rights while countering terrorism:
- Journalism covering terrorism is explicitly protected — detected and cleared automatically
- Academic research on radicalization is explicitly protected — detected and cleared automatically
- Survivor testimony is explicitly protected — detected and cleared automatically
- Every TVEC detection requires human review before any action is taken
- All detection actions are immutably logged on IPFS for independent audit
5. Contact and Grievance Mechanism
Users who believe their human rights have been impacted may contact us at [email protected]. Response time: 72 hours for all human rights grievances.
6. Annual Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated annually. First adopted: June 10, 2026 by Open Feed Network, Inc.
"Safety is not a feature we will add when we are big enough. It is the reason we are building this platform." — Ronny Cruz, Founder & CEO
